Hi! We're the Islamic Society,
Creating a sisterhood and building Imaan (faith)
Our Islamic Society thrives on creating a community for Muslims in our school. We want to create an atmosphere where people achieve their highest potentials. With numerous opportunities to improve your own personal skills as well as your team building abilities; we are proud to say that Islamic Society is the place to be. We allow people to take charge of their own projects, for example running your own fundraiser or creating competitions that you run with the help of others. We use our skills and combine them in a way that allows fellow muslims to maximise in their own way
The main focus for our Islamic Society is to create a versatile sisterhood that focuses on learning and development. We believe that every muslim in School will benefit from this, where it will be a safe space to discuss things with other students who are going through similar things in their lives. The most important thing for us, is to allow younger muslims in school to feel supported by older students who understand the situations they face. We know that growing up can be intimidating, so our aim is to lesson the load by helping you, sharing our knowledge and skills.
For older students we aim to help people gain experience for the outside world. With the chance to discuss topics that are in the media at the moment and the chance to develop your own leadership and teamwork abilities, we are confident that the Islamic Society will be able to benefit all types of muslims in our school. It is also a place for people to have fun, make friends and take part in activities they enjoy. Whether you want to teach or take part in a calligraphy class, make posters for Random Act of Kindness Day or write blog posts, Islamic Society has it all!
As an Islamic Society we understand that people have amazing, creative ideas that we know will be a brilliant addition to our community. Using this, we ensure that ISoc will be open for everyone. It is the perfect place for people to offer their ideas and take lead on projects they enjoy and are passionate about. Supported by other like-minded individuals, the Islamic Society will ensure that whatever your idea may be, we will work together to bring it to life.
The Islamic Society is one of the most versatile and active societies out there. With countless opportunities, and lots of freedom to take charge, we hope you will join in with our sisterhood and help us establish our community. Now more than ever, we need Muslims to make a difference and show others what Islam is really about.
Whether you are confident in your religion or unsure about it, we know that Islamic Society will benefit you. After all, no harm comes from talking about your issues. Using our blog, newsletters and Forums we hope Imaan ISoc will make a difference in your life. So please get involved! Nothing is impossible when you join the Islamic Society.
Thank You!

Our Aims for Charity
We are hoping to run the ISoc in a charitable way, where one of our main focuses will be to give back to our community.

With a number of opportunities, from running your own fundraisers, to volunteering at a homeless shelter, throughout the year, the ISoc will have links to useful websites, projects that our own members will be running and reminders for charitable days that you can get involved with.
How Our Competitions Will Work!
Throughout the year we will be holding competitions where students can enter through this website. When a competition is running, it will be advertised in the competition tab on this page.
There will be a variety of competition topics, but if you have any suggestions please write them to us using the suggestion box below!
Our Blog!
Our Blog is our main focus. It is the perfect way for Muslims in our school to share knowledge and suggestions.

Any Students who have a Topic they would like to write about, are more than welcome. Just get in contact with any of our organisational Members who can publish your article. Any and all Topics are welcome so please get writing!
ISoc Forums
